Seperation Anxiety in Dogs
I have had these issues with my two GD sisters who I rescued as newborns. Obviously haveing hand reaered them too they are especially bonded with me and the family. They are eight now and they are not too bad. But one particualr sister still chews tissues and loor rolls etc if i leave her for too long. They used to be much worse though and I followed advice of how to deal with this problem. Once I came home to find they had completely trashed my kitchen and lounge. Eaten half the sofa, eight cushions and chewed up several of my daughters toys. Oh not too mention the half a kilo of butter they managed to get too! Oh wow that was a big lesson to me! So action was required and immediately! For one reason it is so distressing for the dogs themselves let alone the owners.
